kimberly added a review for Austria
an, like me, you may probably think the US is the best country in the world. They are lying to you. Wanna know what the best country in the world is? The name of that country is Austria. My father worked in England during the 90s, and before going back to the US, we decided to visit all of Europe. We spent two weeks in Vienna, and we fell in love with the place. It is a beautiful country where almost everyone seems to be happy all the time. If you are from the American South, like I am, or a tropical country, the weather will seem unpleasant to you, too cold, but you'll get used to it. There is always something to do in Austria, even in the country, where everything around you seems beautiful. Quite frankly, I think Austria is better than Switzerland, which in my opinion, seems a little wooden, more strict. ...

kimberly added a review for Liechtenstein
y father worked in England. We were the only Americans in the neighborhood. LOL. Before returning to the US (we are originally from Kentucky), we decided to visit every European country. We traveled by car, but we never got to see Spain or Portugal. Bummer. To make a long story short, we did visit Liechtenstein, and let me tell you something, the place is beautiful. Cold weather, nice landscapes, clean streets, beautiful buildings. BUT if you are young, like I was back then, Liechtenstein is not for you. Bear in mind this is a small place, with a small population. It lacks the plethora of museums you can find in France, or the dozens of castles you can see in Germany. It is a nice place, with nice people, and nice food, and that's all there is to it....

draculgal added a review for Florida, United States
rsh on Florida. I lived there for five years, and believe me, the weather is a lot better than the weather in New York, or Wisconsin. Also, I like the fact that Florida is like three or four countries existing in one single place. What can I say? I like diversity. I do admit that the universities aren't exactly Oxford or MIT, but my cousin graduated at Florida University, and he loved it. Miami alone has a lot to offer. You just have to be careful because it isn't exactly safe. Overall, Florida is okay. ...

rpcarnell added a review for Florida, United States
or almost twelve years. I was a student at the university of Central Florida. I was in Orlando. Once you get to see Disney World, and Daytona Beach (which isn't a big deal in my opinion), Florida is as boring as a third world country. If you are in the US, as a student, there are better places to study. If you are in the US, as a tourist, there are better states to visit. ...

or almost twelve years. Orlando to be precise. I was a student at the University of Central Florida. This isn't exactly a place I'd love to go back to. It is like three different countries existing in one single state: Miami is part of Cuba, Orlando is part of Puerto Rico, and the rest is part of the Bible Belt. Once you visit Disney World, you are going to be bored beyond belief. If you are a student, there are better universities in the US, and if you are a tourist, there are better places to visit. ...

patricia added a review for Liechtenstein
a popular country, and when I visited this place with my husband, it was easy to know why. Charming landscape, nice buildings, but, despite what this website might tell you, it lacks anything remotely entertaining besides the castle where the prince (yes, you read that right, the prince) lives. You can see the alps in the distance if you are in the countryside, but that's about it, even the center of the city is boring. If you like green valleys, or living a quiet life, then this place is for you. But young people will find this place rather boring. ...

ghostpf added a review for United Arab Emirates
is place again. Massive buildings, rich people. Someone who has never visited the UAE may believe this place has it all. However the beauty of this country rests on the shoulders of workers who are practically slaves. Most of them are foreigners. They are given VISA, and they migrate to the UAE believing they will work hard and get paid really well. They are wrong. Their passpords are often stripped away, so they are unable to leave the country. They often end up in terrible accommodations. A beautiful country created with modern day slavery. To make things worse, a woman accused three men of raping her and ended up in jail for fornication. Modern buildings, a lot of technology, but the laws are still archaic to the point of being dangerous. This is a place you should visit if you have no other choice (business, not pleasure). ...

in the world. The Netherlands is a wonderful place to visit. I was here with my wife years ago, and the Dutch are wonderful people. The culture is great, and there are a few things that bother me about the Dutch, but they are great people in general. ...

ghostpf added a review for United States
place IMHO. The USA is so paranoid when it comes to terrorism and illegal immigration that just being at the airport can be nightmarish. Custom officials are aggressive, immigration officials are way too aggressive, They treat everyone like a damn refugee who has no papers. The country is pretty much meh. Except for Chicago and New York, there isn\'t a place you can truly live in. If you don\'t like one place, it follows that you won\'t like the other since every city and neighborhood is like a carbon copy of the other. The entire world copies American culture, I have to give the Americans kudos for being creative, but let\'s face it, then you don\'t have to visit the US to get American products, with that being said, what\'s so good about visiting the US? Disney alone isn\'t good enough, since there is also Disney in France....

fireworks added a review for the city Athens, Greece
from being a third world country. I was there in January, 2014, so it may be worse now. But I don't think it is as bas a Latin American nation. For starters, Latin America has always been bad. Greece was once a great place to live in. It is sad that now they seem to be turning xenophobic and are very angry. They need to look at themselves and what they have done to their country before shifting the blame to someone else....

and the rest of the Greece, are rapidly becoming a third world country. I visited Greece around July, 2015 because my brother in law lives there, and I couldn't believe what I saw. Poverty seems to have increased to Latin American levels. I thought I was back in Paraguay for a second, as the streets seem to be equally chaotic. There is more homelessness than a lot of Latin American countries, and the crime rate seems to be increasing. I hope they get their act back together. This country pretty much created Western Civilization. It is truly sad that they have lost their way. ...

ustralia, and it is one of the most ordered, most tolerant, cleanest countries I have visited in a long time. This is like Canada in another continent, with friendly people, low crime, and a lot of places to visit. The only downside is perhaps jet lag. Coming from the US, you are going to be very disoriented. ...

those places that is never boring, and it seems to be hidden from the rest of the world. If you click on any of the links, you will realize this isn't exactly an island in the middle of nowhere without people. Don't be deceived by a cartoon. Madagascar is a very entertaining place, with a lot of landmarks, and many places to visit. ...

cindy added a review for the city Miyauchi, Japan
to a Japanese woman, and works in Japan. He lives in this city, so I visited him last year (2014). Like everything in Japan, this is a strange place, but eventually westerners like me get used to it. We are not talking about Tokyo here. This place is a lot less congested, but it is still very modern, and very entertaining. ...
